Kurus Tapi Tak Fit, Tiada Guna.


My next hiking trip is just around the corner and I'm having butterflies in my stomach for no reason.

Okay, tipu.

Banyak sebab untuk rasa murmur rerama ini kerana Along tak sabar untuk melaksanakan apa yang Along dah siapkan untuk pendakian kali ini.

Okay, tatabahasa sangat pelik tapi malas nak retype balik -_-"

I've bought my own hiking boots, nothing fancy sebab takut hangat-hangat tahi ayam je panjat memanjat ni, but at least I don't have to borrow it for someone else in case tapak tercabut lagi whatsoever.

Sebut pasal tapak kasut, I've sent the new boots to the cobbler for a double stitching, safety reasons in mind.

And did I mention the boots is in purple color?

Okay, bukan lah totally purple all over, but it has purple stitches and purple shoelaces okay okay sepatutnya excited pasal hike trip, bukan kasut -_-"

Pasal kasut, done.

Then I managed to invite a fellow colleague to join this trip, so it's pretty nerve-wrecking sebab takut my colleague tak enjoy nanti or takut his expectations are different from what I've told him. So Rizal, harap-harap we both will survive and enjoy this trip okay? :')

Next is, apa yeh?

Owh, preparations.

Before moving back to Seremban, I used to jog around my condo area and climbed the stairs till the 10th floor instead of taking the lift (coz that's where my house was) and small workouts whenever I had the time -- which is, usually after working hours.

Then when I start to commute, there's limited time to do so, I had to find ways to keep fit other than minding what I ate everyday. I used the stairs instead of the escalator/lift at the LRT stations and on busy days where the bus is late, I walked from the office to the LRT station -- with the laptop inside my backpack.

For the sake of training purposes, kalau tak jangan harap weh!

But I can't do much other than that, for I don't want to show up at the office looking & feeling sweaty all over -- jadi agak stress juga knowing I skipped a day of training.

So usually I made sure that I utilized the treadmill we have at home on weekends.


This is my starting workout time :-
17:57 minute which is equal to 1.565 km of distance.

I have, alhamdulillah, been consistent with it (half an hour is the max, tapi pastu tercabut kepala lutut haha) but at the same time, I don't want to be over-confident with what I've prepared.

Sebab berjalan atas treadmill adalah sangat berbeza dengan berjalan dalam hutan sambil membawa bagpack.

But at least I know I have prepared myself -- whether it's too much or too little, kita terpaksa tunggu dan lihat :')

Pastu tidur cukup (ni susah sikit haha) and jaga kaki dari tersepak anything gitu.
Don't wanna hurt my legs even before climbing up.

Other than that, let me list down the things I haven't sorted out yet.

1. Backpack/Sleeping Mat -- borrowed from Abang Man
2. Long socks
3. Headlight
4. Insect Repellents
5. Toiletries
6. Rations -- chocs, sweets, energy drinks
7. Camera/Scarlet -- done.
8. My own First Aid Kit -- done.
9. A pair of new tights
10. Three (at least) set of clean clothes -- done.
11. Raincoat
12. Telekung & Sejadah kecil (Yeay,ni Farina ada bagi!) -- done.

I don't know if I missed anything else since this is my own rough checklist, Abang Man hasn't email me yet.

Ah, that reminds me about something.
I might need to find a pouch bag but I just can't decide on how or which one shall I get.

Something similar like this should be okay, no?

Ah, I can't think of anything else.
Might put up the vid from the last hike trip, tengoklah -- just to get the feel (or to be reminded not to repeat the same mistakes haha)

Other than that, if you peeps have advices or tips for me, do let me know okay sebab macam dah tak sabar actually haish haish.
